I
was born on 21.08.1953 in Celje. My first contacts with the Athletics
dates back into1969- and my discipline used to be high jump. My career
ended early due to a severe knee injury. After a long recovery period I started training shot put and discus throw and won Slovenian Cup for Seniors in 1988. In 1983
after a course for a coach I successfully passed the exams and started
working as a coach. Since then I've coached many Slovenian athletes.. Among
others I coached our Ex -National Team member Natasa Erjavec; my son Alena,
who was a Junior National Champion in 1993 and a member of our Junior
National Team for several years. I coached Nina Podergajs, our National
Champion in 1998 amongst the youngest athletes. This year, however I started coaching Janez Hudej, our National Paralympic Team member - we're preparing for The Paralympic Games in Sydney. | ||
