Hrastovlje
is a small Mediterranean village which is known by the Romanic church of
the Holy Trinity from the century. Interior
walls of the church are completely covered with the frescoes from 1490.
Frescoes show scenes from both, The Old and The New Testament. The most
famous frescoes are "deathlike ball". The Church with the
surrounding fortified walls used to be a stronghold and protection for
villagers in the pats furious centuries.
