Slovenia has a typical Continental Climate with quite a warm Summer (highest temperatures in the past years overcoming even 35o C) and rather severe Winter (up to - 20o C).
Slovenia is often named "The green Oasis of Europe" - with a good reason, since we have a lots of mixed, well preserved forest covering our Country - and moreover, we have a unique Flora and Fauna and we are doing our best to preserve it s untouched as possible.
