Pleterje Carthusian Monastery is world famous Carthusian Monastery established in 1403 and the only (of the former 4 Carthusian Monasteries) still inhabited and operative in Slovenia nowadays.

There is an Open-Air Museum in its surroundings as well, presenting very old, traditional way of living in the area.
