Merlene Ottey je danes, 3. julija 2000 izvedela, da je njen"neomajni duh" dobil še eno bitko - tokrat z dotlej nepopustljivo administracijo IAAF. 

Skupaj z njo bomo njeno stališče ob tej nadvse veseli novici v živo spremljali tudi vsi obiskovalci in ustavarjalci najbolj atletskih strani na Slovenskem ... in veselili se bomo skupaj z njo. Njene sanje so se preprosto morale uresničiti - in ta trenutek se že uresničujejo!

On Monday afternoon, July 3.rd 2000  Merlene Ottey has been officially informed that her "Unyielding Spirit" had won another battle - this time with the administration of the IAAF.
