From February 14. 2000 Merlene Ottey
was suspended from any IAAF competition. Her "nandrolone
case" has been sent to IAAF Arbitrary Tribunal, which
held the hearing of both parties between June 16. and 17.
Their final decision was
published on July 3.rd 2000. Merlene was acquitted of all charges
against her.
