2004 - ATHENS

There are very few of us who believe Merlene could participate at yet another Olympic Games (seventh for her in 24 years), since she'll be over 44 next year by the time of Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.

She herself is not promising it, the only thing she "promises" is that we'll not see her at the track as a sprinter after 2004.

But let's not forget: Merlene is unique - and very special!!! And if she does perform in Athens next year, she'll do it for Slovenia!
