One
of the ATHENS 2004 priorities for the year
2003 was the publication of the Paralympic
Pre-Games Training Guide. The Guide lists and
describes all the training sites available in
Greece for national teams and individual
athletes from all over the world wishing to
visit and train in the country that will host
the 2004 Paralympic Games. The Guide was
issued in May 2003 and was forwarded to all
National Paralympic Committees.
The
Guide's aim follows ATHENS 2004 philosophy to
offer all athletes the opportunity:
|
to
train in fully equipped sporting
facilities in Greece,
|
|
to
adapt to local conditions prior to the
ATHENS 2004 Paralympic Games,
|
|
to
experience Greek hospitality and
culture.

The Guide was produced in CD-ROM and online.
